Barfour Adjei-Barwuah

Barfour Adjei-Barwuah (born December 15, 1942 ) is a former Ghanaian diplomat .

Career

From 1972 to 1975 Adjei-Barwuah was a TV presenter for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and an assistant at the University of Indiana and the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA. During the same period he did research at the University of Ghana .

1987–1988 he was a contact officer in Kent . 1993–2001 he was a consultant in London .

From 2001 to January 30, 2003, Adjei-Barwuah was ambassador to Tokyo , where he was involved in negotiations that resulted in the Japanese government converting a US $ 81 million loan for road construction between Mallam and Yamoransa into a grant, which resulted in Japanese principles for heavily indebted developing countries are not intended in this way.

From January 30, 2003 to January 2006, he was High Commissioner in Canberra (Australia).
