Bargasos

Bargasos ( Greek  Βάργασος ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

As Apollonios of Aphrodisias reports in his 4th book of Karika , a story of Caria , in Stephanos of Byzantium , Bargasos was a son of Heracles with the barge . In Caria, according to Apollonios, he was considered the eponym of the city of Bargasa . He was driven out by his half-brother Lamos , the son of Heracles with Omphale . He had a son named Kyardos , king of the Carians and namesake for the city of Kyarda in Caria.
