Baron Biddulph , of Ledbury in the County of Hereford , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family home of the barons has been Makerstoun House near Kelso in the Scottish Borders Council Area since 1960 .

Award

The title was created on August 1, 1903 for the banker and former Liberal MP Michael Biddulph .

Today's title holder has been his great-great-grandson Nicholas Maitland-Biddulph as 5th Baron since 1988 . In 1978 he added his mother's surname Maitland to his surname.
