Baron Glendyne

Baron Glendyne , of Sanquhar in the County of Dumfries , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was bestowed on the stockbroker Sir Robert Nivison, 1st Baronet on January 23, 1922 . As early as July 21, 1914, he was given the subordinate title Baronet , of Branch Hill Lodge in the Metropolitan Borough of Hampstead , in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom .

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson John Nivison as the 4th Baron since 2008 .
