Baron Harmsworth
Baron Harmsworth , of Egham in the County of Surrey , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The Barons' family home is The Old Rectory in Stoke Abbott near Beaminster in Dorset .
Award
The title was awarded to the liberal politician Cecil Harmsworth on February 4, 1939 . He was Under-Secretary of State in the British Foreign Office from 1919 to 1922 .
Today's title holder has been his grandson Thomas Harmsworth as 3rd Baron since 1990 .
