Egham is a small town in the county of Surrey in the south east of England . It is located southwest of London and close to the M25 London ring road . The Windsor Castle as you reach Egham on foot in an hour.
Egham belongs to the metropolitan area of London. Administratively, the city is assigned to the Borough of Runnymede . The Magna Carta was signed near Runnymede in 1215 .
The University of London's Royal Holloway College is located in Egham. In 2005 around 6,600 students were enrolled here.
