Baron Poltimore
Baron Poltimore , of Poltimore in the County of Devon , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on September 10, 1831 for Sir George Bampfylde, 6th Baronet .
In 1823 he had inherited from his father the title of Baronet , of Poltimore in the County of Devon, which had been bestowed on his great-great-great-great-grandfather on July 14, 1641 in the Baronetage of England.
Today's title holder is his descendant Mark Bampfylde as the 7th Baron.
