Protection of the landscape in the area of ​​the district of Roth - Southern Central Franconian Basin east of the Swabian Rezat and the Rednitz with foreland of the Middle Franconian Jura (LSG Ost) (ID: LSG-00428.01) is a landscape protection area in Bavaria . The conservation area includes parts of the south of the Central Franconian Basin along the Swabian Rezat and the Rednitz . Not far is the protected landscape area in the area of ​​the Roth district - southern Central Franconian Basin west of the Swabian Rezat and the Rednitz with Spalter Hügelland, Abenberger Hügelgruppe and Heidenberg (LSG West) .

The landscape protection area is located in the Franconian Keuper-Lias-Land (11) within the natural spatial main unit of the Middle Franconian Basin (113).
