The bird sanctuary Schwarzachwiesen near Freystadt is a nature reserve near Freystadt in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

The nature reserve is located 1.8 kilometers northwest of Freystadt. It is on the border with the Roth district . The larger part (21.4 ha) belongs to the Middle Franconian Allersberg and is therefore in the district of Roth. The remaining 20.8 hectares belong to Freystadt in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate. Part of the area belongs to the landscape protection area protection of the landscape in the area of ​​the district of Roth - Southern Central Franconian Basin east of the Swabian Rezat and the Rednitz with the foreland of the Middle Franconian Jura (LSG Ost) .

The approximately 42 ha area is a large meadow complex with partially extensively used meadows. It offers disturbance-sensitive and meadow-breeding bird species an important habitat, as well as resting and feeding areas for marsh and water birds. The nature reserve was placed under protection on April 3, 1988.
