The Albtrauf near Pollanten is a nature reserve near Pollanten , a district of the Upper Palatinate town of Berching in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

The 23,675 hectare nature reserve is part of the Altmühltal Nature Park and is located 800 meters southeast of Pollanten on the eastern middle and upper slopes of the Sulztal . It is part of the Fauna-Flora-Habitat- Area eaves of the middle Franconian Alb in the Sulztal (FFH-Nr. 6834-301; WDPA-Nr. 555521727).

Turk Association

The area is a typical section of the Albtrauf landscape in the southern Franconian Alb natural area . It is a forest area with numerous springs and characteristic beech forest communities. The nature reserve is freely accessible all year round and was placed under protection on May 14, 1982.
