Pollanten is a district of the town of Berching in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate .
location
The parish village is on the federal road 299 and the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal . This is where it separates from today's Main-Danube Canal . The three former districts lie to the east on a plateau.
history
In addition to the main town, the community consisted of the districts Wolfersthal , Eismannsberg and Grubach . In 1933 it had 308 inhabitants, in 1939 there were 448. On July 1, 1972, the community was incorporated into Berching.
