Sollngriesbach is a district of the Upper Palatinate town of Berching . The church village is north of Berching and west of the Main-Danube Canal , the Sulz , the federal highway 299 and the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal . The place is traversed by the Kirchenbach . The St. Nikolaus Church is a branch of Berching.
history
In 1198, Sollngriesbach was first mentioned in a document from Bishop Hartwig von Grögling-Dollnstein . The Lords of Hohenbrunnen lived at the castle between the 11th and 14th centuries. The village church was first mentioned in 1448. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the place was called Grispach, Griezpach or Grisbac. In 1495 between 70 and 80 people lived in Sollngriesbach. From the 15th century the additions salm and saln appear.
On July 1, 1972, the community of Sollngriesbach and its district Grubmühle were incorporated into Berching.
In addition to the Church of St. Nicholas, seven other objects are entered in the official list of monuments.
