history

On May 1, 1978, Holnstein and Butzenberg, Rudersdorf , Altmannsberg , Matzenhof , Ritzermühle , Simbach and Wackersberg were incorporated into Berching.

Church affiliation

Ecclesiastically, Butzenberg has belonged to the parish Holnstein in the deanery Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate since April 22, 1811 . Before that it belonged to the parish of Waldkirchen .

Architectural monuments

Monument is a residential stable house with half-timbered gable from 1805 and a former Zehentstadel. It is a two-story drive-through barn from the 17th century.
