The Deusmauer Moor is a nature reserve near Deusmauer , a district of Velburg in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

The nature reserve is located 5.8 kilometers northwest of Velburg. It is part of the fauna-flora-habitat area Talmoore on the Schwarzen Laaber .

The 73 hectare area is an extensive low moor complex on the Schwarzen Laaber . It is significant because of the occurrence of rare plants as Ice Age relics . Maintenance work has been carried out for years to maintain a characteristic wet meadow flora. The nature reserve was placed under protection in 1952 and on June 28, 1980 with a new ordinance.
