The Rifugio Sette Selle (German Sette-Selle hut , Mocheno Hitt van Indertol ) is a refuge of section Pergine of Trentino Alpine Association (SAT).

Location and surroundings

The Rifugio Sette Selle is located in the municipality of Palai im Fersental ( Italian Palù di Fersina ) in the province of Trento at 1978  m slm It is located in the upper Indertol (Italian Val Laner ), a side valley of the Fersental (Italian Valle dei Mocheni ), in a basin overlooked by the Cima di Sette Selle, after which the hut is named.

The European long-distance hiking trail E5 leads past the hut . It is also a stage of the Translagorai .

history

The refuge was built on the site of a former Austrian stone barrack from the First World War. The foundation stone was laid in 1975, and the rifugio was inaugurated on October 7, 1978. Between 2004 and 2006, it was expanded and modernized.
