Sauce Rancho is a village in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Sauce Rancho is the sixth largest town in the canton of Mallco Rancho in the district (Bolivian: Municipio ) Sipe Sipe in the province of Quillacollo . The village is located at the western end of the plain of Cochabamba at an altitude of 2569 m one and a half kilometers northeast of the Río Viloma shortly before its confluence with the Río Rocha , the main source of the Bolivian Río Grande .

Sauce Rancho is located between the Bolivian Cordillera Central and the Cordillera Oriental in the transition area to the Bolivian lowlands.
The mean average temperature of the region is around 18 ° C (see climate diagram Cochabamba) and fluctuates only slightly between 14 ° C in June and July and 20 ° C in November. From Cochabamba, the paved road Ruta 4 leads west over the town of Quillacollo past Vinto towards Sipe Sipe . Seven kilometers southwest of the city center of Quillacollo, the street Mallco Chapi branches off the main road to the southwest . At the first intersection, in the center of Mallco Chapi , a road branches off in a north-westerly direction and after a kilometer you reach Sauce Rancho .

Due to the historically grown population distribution, the region has a high proportion of Quechua population, in the municipality of Sipe Sipe 83.9 percent of the population speak the Quechua language.
