The Río Rocha is one of the headwaters of the Río Caine and thus the Río Grande in Bolivia .

course

The Río Rocha rises on the southern slope of the Sierra de Cochabamba east of the city of Sacaba . From there, the river crosses the basins of Cochabamba and Quillacollo in a westerly direction, with the water flow fluctuating strongly with the seasons . After 65 km the river turns in a south-easterly direction and after a total of 108 km joins the Río Arque at an altitude of 2350  m and then bears the name Río Caine .

The Río Caine later merges into the Rìo Grande, which flows 1,438 km below the source of the Rìo Rocha into the Río Mamoré .
