The Haselgruberhütte , full name Edelweiss Hütte - Haselgrubersee ( Italian Rifugio Stella Alpina al Lago Corvo ), is a private refuge in the Ortler Alps in Trentino . The hut is managed from mid-June to mid-September. It has 40 beds and a winter room with 4 beds.

Location and surroundings

The hut, built in 1952, is only a few meters south of the Rabbijoch at an altitude of 2425  m slm in the municipality of Rabbi on the border with the Stilfserjoch National Park . The Rabbijoch has always served as a cattle crossing between the South Tyrolean Ulten Valley in the north and the Trentino Val di Rabbi in the south. There are several smaller lakes in the vicinity of the huts, such as Lago Corvo in the west, and the Kirchberg and Haselgrubersee lakes in the northwest.
