Baron Teviot

Baron Teviot , of Burghclere in the County of Southampton , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was awarded to the national-liberal politician Charles Kerr on June 27, 1940 , on the occasion of his resignation from the office of Comptroller of the Household .

Today's title holder has been his son of the same name as 2nd Baron since 1968.
