Barry Jackson (actor)
Barry Jackson (born March 29, 1938 in Birmingham , † December 5, 2013 in London ) was a British actor .
Barry Jackson starred in 127 British film and television shows over a period of over 50 years. Among other things, he appeared in the series Poldark , Doctor Who and Lovejoy . In the television film The Little Lord , which is repeated every Christmas , he played the role of the coachman Hustings. In addition, he became known through appearances in several films such as Ryan's daughter , Barry Lyndon , Wimbledon - Game, Set and ... Love or Battle in the Clouds . He is mainly known to the German public through his role as forensic doctor Dr. George Bullard became a household name in the popular crime series Inspector Barnaby , which he played from 1997 to 2011.
He died of cancer on December 5, 2013 in London at the age of 75.
