The Bartholomäuskapelle is a church building and is located in Korweiler , a village in the Hunsrück in Rhineland-Palatinate .

history

The present day Bartholomäus chapel in Korweiler was built in 1907. The altar from 1745 comes from the old chapel , which was built in 1701 and had to be torn down due to its dilapidation.

The picture of Bartholomew in the entrance area of ​​today's chapel was originally the altarpiece that hung in the center of the altar. Today you can find a wooden statue there.
