Karin Hartmann
Karin Hartmann (born August 19, 1959 in Heppenheim ) is a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and from 1995 to 2008 and again since 2013 a member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
After graduating from high school in 1978, Ms. Hartmann studied sociology, economics and psychology from 1978 to 1984 and then worked as a research assistant and from 1985 to 1995 as managing director of the Bergstrasse district parliamentary group .
politics
Since 1993, Ms. Hartmann has been the deputy sub-district chairwoman of the SPD Bergstrasse.
She has been a member of the Grasellenbach community council since 1989 , where she has been parliamentary group leader since 2006 and was chairwoman of the community council from 1993 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2016.
She has been a member of the Bergstrasse district assembly since 1993, where she has been deputy parliamentary group leader since 1993, and was deputy district assembly chairperson from 2001 to 2006 and since 2011.
She was a member of the state parliament from April 5, 1995 until the state parliament was dissolved in November 2008. In the state parliament she was deputy chairman of the cultural policy committee and a simple member of the interior committee, state youth welfare committee, state personnel commission and state sports conference.
In the state elections in Hesse in 2008 on January 27, 2008 Hartmann ran for the constituency Bergstrasse Ost as a direct candidate, but was subject to Peter Stephan , the candidate of the CDU . In the state election on January 18, 2009 , she ran again as a direct candidate of the SPD for the constituency Bergstrasse Ost , but could not win it.
In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , she ran in the constituency of Bergstrasse II . Here she was defeated by Peter Stephan. However, you succeeded in entering the state parliament via a list of the party. Even in the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , she was unable to win the constituency directly, but moved back into the state parliament via the state list of her party.
