Bastiano Mainardi (* around 1460 in San Gimignano , † 1513 in Florence ) was an Italian painter during the Renaissance .

Life

Mainardi was trained in Florence by his brother-in-law Domenico Ghirlandaio and then worked for him. He made numerous paintings for churches in Florence and San Gimignano, showing the influence of both Ghirlandaio and Andrea del Verrocchio .
