Batschkowo ( Bulgarian Бачково ) is a village in the municipality of Asenovgrad in Plovdiv Oblast . The village is located around 9 km south of the community center Asenovgrad on the Chaya River in the middle of the Rhodope Mountains .

In the immediate vicinity of the village is the second largest Bulgarian monastery, Batschkowo .
