The Academy of the Biberach University of Applied Sciences , formerly the Biberach Building Academy , is an institute for advanced training in the fields of construction and real estate. The non-profit foundation under private law offers seminars, courses and part-time courses in close cooperation with the Biberach University of Applied Sciences .

history

Even before the Biberach Building Academy was founded, the then Biberach University of Applied Sciences (now Biberach University of Applied Sciences ) made a name for itself in 1974 with the Lindau Building Seminar. This type of training was expanded with the Biberach Building Academy, founded in 1983. The founding fathers of the institution were the Society of Friends and Alumni of the Biberach University of Applied Sciences, together with renowned companies in the German construction industry such as Bilfinger Berger , Hochtief , Schwenk Zement and the Liebherr Group as donors.

In 2011 the Bauakademie Biberach was renamed to its current name.

The academy is a partner of Biberach University. President of the Academy of Biberach University is Mario Caroli, who is also a personally liable partner of Bankhaus Ellwanger & Geiger KG.

In addition to seminars, courses and specialist conferences, the MBA Business Management Construction course has been offered since 1989, leading to the title of Master of Business Administration . Since 2002, the MBA program in International Real Estate Management has also been offered in cooperation with the London South Bank University and Wüest & Partner in Zurich. It is the first master’s course for real estate management nationwide.

The part-time MBA courses, courses and seminars are attended by more than 1,500 participants each year.
