from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The farm stone Fienstedt is a listed farm stone in the village of Fienstedt in the municipality of Salzatal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the stone is recorded as a special stone under registration number 428300510.

The farm stone of Fienstedt is located on the village green, south of the small lake and northwest of the church of Fienstedt . The Fienstedt peasant stone actually consisted of two stone tables, each standing in a poplar ring of twelve poplars . After the Second World War , one of the poplar rings was cut down. The two stone tables were neglected and fell in half over time. In 1998 or 1999 one of the stone tables was restored. Photos from 1929 still exist of the second stone table and the poplar rings
