The Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv provides information about the influences of Bauhaus architecture in Tel Aviv . Around 4,000 buildings in the city were built in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s based on the Bauhaus and international style . The Bauhaus Center at 77 Dizengoff Street runs a gallery with a permanent exhibition and changing exhibitions (also on contemporary art and design), a library and a publishing house that publishes publications on Bauhaus architecture and design. The Bauhaus Center also offers guided tours through the White City every Friday . In addition to literature, the center's shop also sells Judaica in the Bauhaus style. The Bauhaus Center was founded in 2000 by Asher Ben-Shmuel, Shlomit Gross and Micha Gross .
