Building stone from Husabø

The monolith of Husabø is on the to Stavanger belonging island Hundvåg in Fylke Rogaland in Norway . The menhir is in a private garden and is difficult to see from the Stavangerfjords Vei road. The building stone had been split in half to be used as fence posts. The parts were glued together and the stone was erected again. There is still a hole in both halves.

The menhir has a square cross-section of 40 × 40 cm and is about 3.0 meters high. It ends in a sharp point. The stone is bent a little S-shape.

Nearby is located Runestone of St Mary's Church , which in Arkeologisk museum issued by Stavanger.
