The Bay Adelaide Center is a 218 meter high office building completed in 2009 in the Financial District of Toronto on the corner of Bay Street and Adelaide Street. It has 51 floors and is owned by Brookfield Properties , a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management of Canada . There are several restaurants, cafes and boutiques on the ground floor. The building has an underground car park with 1,100 parking spaces. It is connected underground to the City of Toronto's PATH system.

LEED

The building was built using an energy-saving method according to the guidelines of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). After completion it received the gold status , i. H. the second highest award, which says that the building generates 40% more energy savings than normal buildings.

Location

The building plays an important role in the 2010 horror movie Devil by US director John Erick Dowdle .

In the US series Suits , it embodies the headquarters of the fictional law firm Pearson Specter Litt.
