The Bavarian Construction Industry Association, founded in 1946, represents the interests of industrial construction companies in Bavaria . It is an employers and business association as well as collective bargaining partners and educational institutions .

aims

The association includes medium-sized construction companies from all construction sectors as well as large international companies. Need-based construction investments by the public sector, the increased private-sector implementation of public investment projects and the improvement of the economic, legal, tax, labor market and regulatory framework on the construction market are among the goals of the Bavarian construction industry. The association pays particular attention to vocational training .

The association bundles and articulates the interests of the construction industry in Bavaria vis-à-vis the political bodies, authorities and associations at local, state, federal and EU level. He is involved in legislative processes and influences all relevant developments in building policy and administrative law. He works closely with the Main Association of the German Construction Industry , the Association of Bavarian Economy (vbw) , the regional associations of the construction industry and all construction associations.

The guidelines of the association's work are determined by the executive board with its president, unless these are specified by the general assembly.

Educational centers

The association operates two modern training centers for basic, advanced and advanced training in the construction industry in Stockdorf (Starnberg district) and Nuremberg-Wetzendorf . Inter-company training courses for trainees are offered here, which complement the dual training in the company. Furthermore, both centers offer courses for advancement training, seminars for professional development and additional qualifications in the sense of lifelong learning .
