The Bayerische Brauer-Journal - Zeitschrift für Brauerei und Mälzerei was a Bavarian trade journal for the technology of beer brewing and malting and from the second year also for questions about agricultural hops and barley cultivation, which appeared weekly from 1891 to 1919.

The publication, initially without advertising, was the official organ of the Research Institute for Beer Brewery in Nuremberg and at the same time the organ of the Bavarian Brewers' Association . It emerged from the monthly reports published by the research institute and was published directly by the head of the institute, at that time Eugen Prior, in the institution's own publishing house.

Along with the integration of the experimental station in the Bavarian Trade Institute in 1904 served the Bavarian Gewerbemuseum as editor.

From the issue of April 14, 1919, the newspaper appeared under the title Bayerische Brauer-Nachrichten - Bayerisches Brauer-Journal - magazine for Germany's brewery and malting in the publishing house of the Franconian Kurier and was also the organ of the German Brewers Association and the Württemberg Brewers Association .

The last edition appeared on December 29, 1919.
