Shareholder structure
By the end of 2008, Deutsche Essent owned 45% of novogate. Bayerngas , Gelsenwasser and SEL Südtiroler Elektrizitätswerke AG took over this share . In 2012 SEL got out and sold its 10% stake in Gelsenwasser. Until the end of 2013, Bayerngas GmbH held 70% and Gelsenwasser AG 30% of the shares. Bayerngas GmbH took over the Gelsenwasser shares at the end of 2013. At the beginning of 2014, novogate GmbH was renamed Bayerngas Vertrieb GmbH.
