After the Chinese Football Association introduced a new league system in 1994, Bayi moved to a new venue almost every year for financial reasons, for example to Tàiyuán , Xi'an , Kunming , Shijiazhuang , Xinxiang , Liuzhou and Xiangtan , Hunan. During these years the club had several sponsors, including Bayi Zhengbang and Bayi Xiangtan.
In 2003 the association was dissolved by the People's Liberation Army.
