Beate Rygiert

Beate Rygiert (born October 21, 1960 in Tübingen ) is a German writer , screenwriter and director .

Life

Rygiert studied theater studies , musicology and Italian literature in Munich and Florence (master's degree), as well as "film-making" at the New York Film Academy . Since 1993 she has been writing novels , biographies , memoirs and screenplays and works as a director for short and documentary films . She lives in the Black Forest and in Stuttgart.
