Beate Tönsing

Beate Tönsing (born December 5, 1945 in Melle ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After graduating from secondary school , Beate Tönsing attended a teacher training college. Afterwards she worked in the years 1966 to 1975 in the construction and management of kindergartens. She acquired admission to the course through the second educational path and studied first social pedagogy , then educational sciences and German studies in Bielefeld . She graduated as a qualified pedagogue and worked at a psychological counseling center and as a research assistant at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences for Social Pedagogy. In 1982 she took over the management and management of a psychological-integrative learning center in Melle.

She is married and has one child.

politics

Beate Tönsing joined the SPD in 1980. In the Osnabrück-Land district she became a member of the SPD district board, as well as a member of the executive board of the SPD district of Weser-Ems. She was involved in the Lower Saxony regional association as a member of the advisory board of the German Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband and as a board member of the Paritätisches Bildungswerk . She was also a board member of the Association for Integrative Learning Therapy.

In 1968 she became a local council member in Melle-Riemsloh. From June 21, 1990 to June 20, 1994 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (12th electoral period).
