Beatrix Mannel

Beatrix Mannel (* 1961 in Darmstadt ) is a German author.

Life

Beatrix Mannel, née Kramer, was born in Darmstadt in 1961. She studied theater and literature, comparative literature and Italo-Romance literature in Erlangen , Munich and Perugia . Subsequently, she worked as an editor at various television production companies, including Bayerischer Rundfunk . She wrote scripts for the Tiger Duck Club , short novels for BRAVO and texts for numerous comedy programs. Her first book Voll ins Schwarze was also initially written for a competition and was only published later.

She processed a lot of experiences from this time in her youth books. For example, the titles in the Help hospital series reflect the colorful, glittering world of the daily soaps that Mannel experienced first hand as an experienced television writer.

Beatrix Mannel has been a freelance writer since 1999 and lives in Munich. In 2007 she published the thriller " Tender kisses of death " under the pseudonym "Tamara Kelly" in the Knaur-Taschenbuch-Verlag . Another pseudonym she uses is "Beatrix Gurian".
