Beau Busch (born March 16, 1984 in Newcastle ) is a former Australian football player .
Club career
Busch played for Central Coast United in the New South Wales Premier League (NSWPL) in the 2003/04 season . As a result, he played in sub-class amateur football in the Newcastle region. Around 2006/2007, Busch, who worked as a freelance journalist, came to Manly United in the NSWPL. In 2008 he trained at the beginning of the season with the A-League club Newcastle United Jets , but did not get beyond two appearances in the Pre-season Cup and received no contract. In October he was invited to practice by Sydney FC and was able to recommend himself for a short-term contract to replace the injured Simon Colosimo .
He made his league debut on October 25, 2008 in a surprising 2-0 away win against eventual champions Melbourne Victory . Busch had a place in Sydney's starting XI in the next nine games and was signed to the North Queensland Fury expansion team in early January .
