Beautiful Creatures is a hard rock / rock metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1999 .
history
The band is made up of the "remnants" of Bang Tango . The singer of the band is Joe Leste. In 2000 there was also DJ Ashba from the Bullet Boys , who becomes the band's guitarist, and the drummer Glen Sobel, who has already played as a session musician for Ken Tamplin and Saga , among others . 2001 came an agreement with the label Warner Bros and the band, whereupon the band released their first album in the same year. It was called "Beautiful Creatures" and was released by the Warner Bros. label. Until 2005, not much was heard from the band, as it was said that the band wanted to split up, as some band members wanted to play with their previous bands again, but this did not materialize. In the same year their second album "Deuce" was released by the Spitfire Records label. DJ Ashba left the band to start a solo project, as did Glen Sobel. Matt Starr, Michael Thomas and Kenny Kweens, who like DJ Ashba founded the band, also left the band. Only Joe Leste remained in 2005 and only a short time later Alex Grossi (guitar), Timmy Russel (drums) and Anthony Focx (guitar) joined the band. However, Alex Grossi left the band after Michael Thomas returned to the band in the same year and Mark Simpson from the band Flotsam and Jetsam replaced him on guitar.
style
Although the band can be classified as metal, the band is wrongly classified as glam rock . The band's melody is comparable to that of AC / DC , Guns N 'Roses and Faster Pussycat .
