Beef Jerky is dried meat of American cuisine from marinated or salted, sliced into thin strips of beef ( English : beef ). It is usually eaten as a snack without any further preparation and also serves as provisions .

Manufacture and distribution

To make Beef Jerky, beef is freed from fat and tendons, cut into slices or strips a few millimeters thick, marinated for about a day in a marinade made from various seasoning sauces , spices and / or salt and then spread out on grids at approx. 50 ° C dried.
