Beena Itava , also Bina Etawa or Bina , is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . Beena Itava is located in the center of the state and therefore close to the geographical center of India.

The city is part of the Sagar district . Beena Itava has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census, it had 64,529 inhabitants, of whom 33,577 were men and 30,952 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 85%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 88.92%, well above the national average.

The city is the site of a large oil refinery.
