Beer Quarry Caves are former underground limestone - quarry near Beer in the county of Devon on the English Channel coast .

The village of Beer is about two kilometers west of Seaton and eight miles east of Sidmouth . The entrance to the cave complex is about one kilometer west of the village center and one kilometer west of Branscombe .

No stone has been quarried since the early 20th century. Since then some of the caves have been used to cultivate mushrooms . Today there are guided tours of the caves from spring to autumn.
