Proficiency test

The qualification test in Austria is an official examination of a person's knowledge in order to be allowed to practice a certain trade ( certificate of qualification ). In Germany are at universities through study regulations sometimes proficiency tests for admission to certain courses of study prescribed whose existence then a prerequisite for enrollment is.

Proof of qualification is required for the independent exercise of a regulated trade and some sub- trades . These are defined in the trade regulations .

The proficiency tests also include the master craftsman's examination .

The content of the proficiency test generally consists of up to 5 modules:

  • Technical practical examination
  • Technical oral examination
  • Technical written examination
  • Instructor Exam
  • Entrepreneurship examination (also replaces the trainer examination)
