The Beho-Beho is a steppe river in Tanzania .
description
It usually only carries water in the rainy season and can dry out completely if the dry season lasts longer . It partially flows through the area of the Selous Game Reserve and flows into the Rufiji there .
history
On both banks found in the First World War fierce for several weeks fighting between the turn of the year 1916/1917 protection force of German East Africa and British units instead, where Frederick Selous was killed.
