Behpakhsh Co. is a public company and a subsidiary of the Behshahr Group.

Company history

The company was founded in 1955. It is run by a multicultural management team. In 2007, the company was ranked 42nd among the largest companies in Iran. Behpakhsh is the oldest and largest supplier of goods in Iran and the Middle East in terms of sales volume. In accordance with the reports and available statistics from the Ministry of Commerce , the company is considered to be the leading distributor, with a distribution volume of 400,000 tons in 1995 and 600,000 tons in 2008. With its vehicle fleet of 430 (trucks) and well over 1400 employees, Behpakhsh currently delivers more than 600,000 tons of goods to around 85,000 customers. Behpakhsh received the International Quality Management Certificate ( ISO 9000 Version 2000) in 2004 and has maintained it ever since.

Core task

The main task of "Behpakhsh" is the distribution of all kinds of domestic and foreign industrial products as well as commission work and any other kind of authorized trade business. Behpakhsh provides consumer goods across the country. Products are made available to over 260 cooperatives and to over 70,000 sales agents in retail stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, and rural tribal cooperatives in more than 600 boroughs. There are currently around 85,000 sales outlets and 26 logistics centers across the country.
