The Beijing Lions (dt. Beijing lions) are an Arena Football - Franchise from Beijing . You have been playing in the China Arena Football League (CAFL) since 2016 .

history

The Lions were founded in 2016 and play in the LeSports Arena . The head coach of the Philadelphia Soul , Clint Dolezel , was hired as coach .

The undefeated Lions qualified for the China Bowl, the final of the CAFL, on matchday four. In this they met the Quingao Clipper . After their kicker Patrick Clarke III missed a field goal from 18 yards at 32:34 and two seconds before the end , the championship was already lost. However, due to a penalty against the Clipper for rushing the kicker , the attempt could be repeated. This time the kick was good and the Lions won the first CAFL championship.

The Lions had the most effective defense , allowed the fewest points, and scored the most points in the league. Due to the two touchdowns scored by James Romain and the safety of Paul Cheng , the Lions were also able to show the most points scored by the defense.
