Adele Bartisal

Adele Bartisal (born December 20, 1870 in Vienna , † June 19, 1954 ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ), as well as seamstress , clothes maker and housekeeper .

life and career

Adele Bartisal was born on December 20, 1870 as the daughter of a bookbinder in Vienna, where she grew up with her two brothers. After beginning as a seamstress , dressmaker and caretaker worked, she was finally owner of a laundry generation business. During the First World War , she worked for women's aid in the 13th district of Hietzing in Vienna . From 1918 she appeared as a Viennese district councilor and from 1919 as a Viennese councilor . As a member of the SDAPDÖ , she represented the 13th district of Vienna, where she was part of the 1st electoral term of the Vienna State Parliament and Vienna City Council . Bartisal was married to a health insurance officer and had two children. Bartisal died on June 19, 1954 at the age of 83 in her hometown of Vienna.
