Beishouling ( Chinese  北 首 岭 遗址 , Pinyin Běishǒulǐng yízhǐ ) is a site of an early Neolithic culture on the middle reaches of the Yellow River ( Huang He ) in China. It is located on the western bank of the Jinling He ( 金陵 河 ) in the area of Baoji in Shaanxi Province . It is dated from -5100 to -3790. The site was excavated from 1958 to 1978. Their area is 60,000 square meters. Historical relics of a culture from the early Neolithic and the Banpo type of the Yangshao culture were discovered , the first mentioned is in the lower layer of the site. One of the most famous finds is the painted clay kettle in the shape of a boat.

The Beishouling site (Beishouling yizhi) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-193) since 2006 .
