Bel Ami was a German rock band from Berlin that was mainly active in the 1980s . In terms of style and music, the band is assigned to the Neue Deutsche Welle as well as traditional rock .

Band history

The band was founded in 1978, and the first LP Berlin bei Nacht was recorded a year later . The title song of the same name was also published in Turkish ("Gece Berlin de").

Apparently, there were legal problems early on with the song Berlin by Night . It is a cover version of the song Berlin By Night by Knut Schaller of the group PVC . There are therefore two editions of the LP “Berlin at Night”. In the original edition, the original - now also known as the sax version - could be heard, while the second pressing featured a similar-sounding song with the same title. The first version can be found on the CD from 1994 with corrected information from the author.
