Belayneh Densamo

Belayneh Dinsamo (also: Belayneh Densamo ; born June 28, 1965 in Diramo Afarrara ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner and former world record holder.

He won the Rotterdam Marathon four times (1987 to 1989 and 1996), and in 1988 he was the first person to stay under 2:07 with 2:06:50 and set a world record that was only ten years later by Ronaldo da Costa at the Berlin Marathon should be broken.

Dinsamo now lives in the United States as a track and field trainer .
