Bella Vista is the capital of the Bella Vista department of the same name in the Corrientes province in northeastern Argentina . The city, founded in 1825, is located on the Río Paraná .
The Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) has a branch in Bella Vista.
In Goya the Fiesta Nacional de la Naranja, Carnival and the Catholic Scapular Festival are celebrated.
